Committee Members

Volunteers are the lifeblood of any club. If you would like to join our committee or have some input please contact our committee members below to discuss. We are all volunteering and appreciate any feedback you may have to help our Club grow stronger.

Graeme Wilkinson

Positions -  President & Delegate

I have been involved with YDJFC for the last 7 years when my first of two boys (Darcy and Jed) started Auskick. My main role up to this point as a volunteer has been as a coach which I truly love, continuing to do so with the year 4’s. It is amazing to see these young kids progress into a cohesive unit playing some great team football, grasping attacking and defending structures, and set play ball movement.

The greatest joy is watching them grow and mature into youth we can all be proud of. I always put my hand up wherever possible to ensure that our club meets all game environment criteria and internal workings.

I have made some great mates over this time and can’t wait to get 2017 underway. REDHAWKS FOREVER

Melanie is the mother of 3 boys who love everything about footy! Along with her husband, Jason Glover, they have been involved with the junior football club since their oldest son, Griffen, started Auskick, 6 years ago.

We have helped out in various roles and currently have Griffen and Reuben in the Modified competition and their youngest, Keanoe, will be starting Auskick in 2017. Last year Jason was the Year 4 coach and Practical Auskick Coordinator and Melanie was the Auskick Registrar.

In 2017, Jason will continue coaching year 5 and Pre-primary. With our Auskick Coordinator from 2016, Heather, stepping down to concentrate on coaching, Melanie was approached to be Auskick Coordinator and Auskick Registrar for 2017.

Amy Ribbons

Position -  Canteen Manager

This is my second year in the role of Canteen Manager. My family has been involved in the club for over 7 years assisting in various roles whilst both my sons participated in this amazing sport.  Whilst running the canteen has been challenging and requires a lot of hours and dedication I wouldn't have it any other way. I have found the experience to be rewarding made all the better by working alongside some truly inspiring individuals who have gone above and beyond to ensure our children have a club that is committed to providing a safe, fun and family orientated environment. I look forward to meeting all the parents and children during my term and welcome any suggestions and feedback that can benefit everyone involved.

I am a mum of 2 boys and I have been part of the Redhawks family since 2011 when my eldest son Cody joined Auskick.

Cody went onto playing Modifieds in 2014 so I started my role as team manager I enjoyed it so much I did it for 3 more years meeting new footy families along the way

Last year I began the role of Apparel coordinator which I'm enjoying and will continue with the role again this year, as well as watching my son Connor play his first year in Modifieds with plenty of more years with the Redhawks to come.
