The NAB AFL Auskick Program
The NAB AFL Auskick Program is a nationally run program with centres all around Australia using the same session structure and activities. It has been designed specifically for the 5-8 years age group, and provides a curriculum to support children of all abilities and skill levels.
Each week children will rotate through 4 game based activities, which are facilitated by parent helpers, aka 'Activity Helpers' under the guidance and supervision of our Auskick Coaches. Our coaches are then able to provide children with individualised instruction and support.
Each Auskick session will also involve mini-match/es (or grid games), which are played in small groups within rectangular grids. Whilst they may look different to the traditional AFL match, these modified grid games allow children more touches of the ball, with less waiting time, and mean coaches can provide more one-on-one attention.
