Volunteering at Auskick: We need YOU!

As always, we rely on the assistance of our parent helpers to ensure that our children are given the best experience at their Auskick sessions. This assistance from parent helpers ensures our coaches are well supported, which in turn allows each Auskick session to run smoothly. Our Auskick coaches are not paid - they are volunteering their time for your child to have the best Auskick program possible.

We guarantee that there are roles suitable for everyone - no footy knowledge necessary! Anything from helping the kids put on their footy jumpers to running an activity station. Not only would your help be much appreciated by our coaches, but your child will love having you join in.

Our coaches who volunteer their time on Saturday mornings do a fabulous job, but parents - we REALLY need you to step forward! Don't wait to be asked - make yourself known to your child's coach and ask what you can do to help.

If you have any questions, please get in touch:

Pre-Primary Auskick Volunteers needed for 2022:

  • Pre-Primary Manager: We are looking for a volunteer to support our coaches each Saturday with tasks like roll call, handing out jumpers or newsletters and other tasks which ensure sessions run smoothly.

  • Activity Helpers: One of the BEST jobs! We are looking for a pool of parents who could be rostered on to assist coaches with activities. Each week, we require between 4 and 6 volunteers, so ideally we are looking for AT LEAST 16 VOLUNTEERS so you aren't required every week and the workload is shared fairly. • First Aid: If you hold a current senior first aid certificate or equivalent, please get in touch. Ideally we would like a few volunteers to take turns being the rostered first aider at Auskick.

  • Canteen Volunteers: We require 1-2 volunteers for the Pre-Primary age group, to assist our wonderful canteen manager. This year we will be ensuring that we have several volunteers to rotate through a roster, so YOU WILL NOT be required in the canteen every week. Please note, you will not be able to bring children into the canteen with you whilst volunteering.

  • BBQ Helper: Please let us know if you are willing to cook the BBQ occasionally, again we are endeavouring to have several volunteers, so you will not be required in this role every week.
