Meet Our Committee

The committee for the 2020 season is:

President & Delegate - Talent Advisor

SHANE ALLFORD

Shane has been around AFL for most of his life in junior football and whilst serving as a member of the Australian Defence Force. His family has a strong AFL culture with one of his uncles playing for the Richmond Tigers and Claremont Football Club.

Shane is the proud father of three boys, two who play for the Redhawks, Lincoln and Jake, and one who he has previously coached. His boys are passionate about their team and their club!

Shane would like to lead the Yanchep Districts Junior Football Club (YDJFC) into the future, expanding into a dedicated female team, player development, coaching and future AFL pathways, to name a few.

Shane enjoys seeing children learn, play, laugh and having fun whilst gaining lifelong friends. To him this brings meaning and achievement to volunteering. He is looking forward to working with the YDJFC board to ensure a sustainable and successful presence moving forward.

NAOMI LUCAS

Naomi has been a part of the YDJFC 'family' since 2014 when her youngest started in Auskick. Naomi and her family are passionate West Coast Eagles supporters and love nothing more than Sundays supporting the Junior Redhawks at their game and then going on to Optus Stadium to support the Eagles. Naomi also enjoys following the AFLW competition.

Naomi has been the water runner for her son's team for several seasons now. It's a job she loves to do and she has decided to step up her involvement and take on the role of Sponsorship Officer in 2019.
